What makes the modern education so much different from the one from several decades before. The major difference is in the methods of the education. Today we can study from distance and still we are able not to lose the connection with the professors and other teachers. This was not possible in the 70′s and the 80′s but today it is not only possible but it is part of the daily communication between teachers and students.

The student decides what to study and where. This means that each one,  despite the distances,  can study in each university that he/she likes and of course,  that she/he can afford.

However, the modern technologies allows questions to be posted in forums, which is absolutely useful, because this way the question and its answer can be seen not only by the student that asks, but from everybody. This saves time and efforts.

The final result from the course is a combination between the grades from the test during the year and the final exams. This way the teacher can follow how much the student was learning during the year and which parts of the education were easier to him/her and which were harder.
