When you look for a place to stay for the new year’s holidays, there are plenty of opportunities in front of you and most of them are very similar one to another. However, there are places in Europe that are more worthy to be seen and visited than others. One of them is Bulgaria. It is a small country with ancient history and one of the most beautiful natures in the world. In just several square kilometres you can see sea, high mountains with 2000 metres peaks, lakes and forest with amazing falls. It almost sounds like a fairy tail, but if you have the chance to visit the place you will see that I do not exaggerate at all.

The best that you can do in Bulgaria is to hire whole house in the mountains. There are many of those “guest houses” there. All of them are perfectly suitable for normal live, so you should not be worried about the conditions. On top of all, some of those houses have tavernas on their first floor, so you can stay there and not move anywhere for food or drinks. Huge fireplaces and nice meat, this is what these places are all about. However, if you decide that it would be better for you to have someone to prepare all these things for your, the host will stay, but if you want privacy, you can have that too.

However, what makes this place so unique is not the small houses or the good wine, but the nature. High in the mountains, the snow is usually around 50 to 60 cm, which makes it perfect for skiing and if you have the proper equipment for nice walks in the forest.
